Over the past few years this little company of ours has gone from strength to strength. After all we do pride ourselves on producing the finest lamps available on the market. But sometimes we like to look back, take stock of our achievements and cast our minds back where it all started: The Original Moon Lamp.
The idea of The Original Moon Lamp came about in 2015 when our founder Mr. Jameson was asked a question by his young and inquisitive daughter: “Can you take me to the moon?” A simple yet adorable request! While he couldn’t actually take her to our closest astrological neighbor, the question always stuck in his mind, and he eventually come up with an idea; make a small moon lamp to give to his daughter. Naturally she loved it and it became quite a hit with friends and family, and before long Mr. Jameson plucked up the courage to purchase 200 3D printers and start producing large quantities of the little moon lamp that his daughter had fallen in love with.
And here we are now, many years later with a vast array of different products, from the Original Jupiter Lamp to the Heng Balance Lamp to the Original Galaxy LED Projector. But when it comes down to it you can’t beat the old classic itself: The Original Moon Lamp. In fact, so popular and influential is this single lamp that we named the entire company after it.
But what makes it so special? Well aside from the sentimental value attached to it, The Original Moon Lamp truly is the pinnacle of 3D printing technology. Printed in one single piece over the course of 26 hours, The Original Moon Lamp contains more intricate details and subtle nuances than any of the competitors on the market. This was achieved by using high quality NASA satellite imagery to accurately and perfectly capture the bright white body that is our muse.
But no matter how many more amazing products we keep coming up with, we’re never going to not be proud of our very first lamp. It’s good to see how far we’ve come, and it reminds us of how much we have grown and expanded as a company all thanks to the help of our amazing and loyal customers.
